**About the role**

As the Lifeguard Operations Supervisor you will support the Operations Team Leader to perform administration responsibilities for the Operations and Risk Business Unit.

It is expected that 2 days per week is administrative work with the remaining 3 days direct service in either the Duty Manager or Lifeguard roles.

Key responsibilities of this role include supporting the Operations Team Leader to:

- Provide leadership, supervision, advice and guidance to staff and operational or aquatic programs.
- Review Pool Lifeguard and Duty Manager rosters
- Ensure staff are qualified to work and maintain qualification records
- Conduct staff inductions and training
- Support the day to day shift running of plant rooms, pools and stadium programs.
- Monitor and coordinate staff cleaning checks and control cleaning stock
- Create and maintain work instructions and procedures

You will be proactive, diligent and solutions oriented with exceptional decision-making and communication skills.

You will have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, mornings and evenings.

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge and understanding of swimming pool and spa chemistry, purification, filtration and heating.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle difficult customers and provide quality customer service
- Experience in staff training and roster management systems.
- Previous staff supervision experience with the ability to lead, train and motivate staff.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications including Provide First Aid, Pool Lifeguard Award and CPR.
