Perth, Australia Balthazar Restaurant Full time

**Balthazar Restaurant**, located in the CBD, is looking for **experienced hospitality enthusiasts**and passionate to join the team FOH positions. We offer around 30-35h/week for the right applicant

Available to work day and night, week and weekends, although Sundays are always our day off We aim to give you an experience here at Balthazar and with the thoughtful and clever dishes focusing on local produce and wine.

**The right applicants must have a very good English and has to commit for at least 3 months.**

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Setting and arranging tables
- Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and drinks lists
- Recommending dishes and wines to complement food when needed
- Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
- Serving food and beverages
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages
- Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen
- Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
- Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.
- Maintaining personal hygiene as well as following health and safety procedures.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in Australia ideally but not a must
- Exceptional customer service & communication skills
- Strong understanding of cuisine profile
- Understanding of Australian cuisine
- Some knowledge of European & Australian wines ideally but not a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Contract

Pay: From $31.19 per hour
