ASAP start - Accounts Payable support role
- Part-time 3-months contract with possibility to extend. City Fringe
- $33 - 39 /hr + super

We are looking for an experienced part-time Accounts Payable Officer to support this business in a short-term contract capacity until March with the opportunity to extend.

Key duties will include but not be limited to the following:

- Full function accounts payable,
- Scanning & verification of invoices,
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices are resolved,
- Maintaining the prepayment schedule and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded,
- Dealing with inquiries from a range of sources across the whole business,
- Reconciling accounts and assisting with payment runs,
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

To be successful in this role you must have a positive attitude, possess a can-do approach to all you do and can fit into to a busy, professional accounting team. You will be a good communicator and enjoy working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Strong stakeholder engagements skills, excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast and complex environment is a must.

Ideally you will have exposure to using Sage or a similar finance software system and excellent attention to detail.
