Our client is a highly successful and well established Brisbane based privately owned organisation with Property and Industrial services assets. They are opening a new facility in the coming months and anticipate an increased volume of work so are are looking for another Accounts Payable Officer ( part-time). They seek to hire an experienced, full function AP Officer to join their well-resourced finance team on part time basis, working 20 - 25 hours, ideally over 4 days/week. The role will report to and working directly with an experienced CFO, Financial Controller and support another fulltime AP Officer.

**About the role**:
A day in the life will include the following Responsibilities:

- Providing full end-to-end Accounts Payable functions;
- Reviewing high volume scanning of invoices for errors and amending exceptions;
- Data entry of invoices as and when required;
- Account and vendor statement reconciliation;
- Preparing and processing payment runs across multiple entities;
- Ensuring vendor details are 100% accurate for payment runs;
- Assisting external vendors and internal teams with queries regarding invoices and payments;
- Maintaining accurate accounts payable records and supporting end-of-month reporting, and
- Other ad hoc accounting support to the team as required.

**About You**
The successful applicant will have the following:

- 2+ years of experience in a full function Accounts Payable or Accounts role.
- Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability engaging with stakeholders and customers.
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Solid excel and good systems experience (MYOB Advanced experience is desirable but not essential)
