Extend is a privately owned premium Childcare Provider who has been operating for over 20 years. Most of our partnerships are with exclusive private schools. Our core values are built around providing the best possible experiences for our children, which lead to discovery and learning in the Out of School Hours Care setting.

**The Service**

**Mount Sinai College **in** Maroubra**

**Monday to Thursday**

**ASC **(after school care) Start **2:30 pm to 6:00 pm**

**Days required per week - **we are looking for someone who can work **4** days per week.

**Overview**

As Coordinator, your main role is to create a safe, caring environment where children want to come to play, learn and discover Leading your team you will plan programs, taking into consideration individual learning and development by managing observations and reflections. Strong communication and the ability to adapt in the day-to-day environment is very important. Developing ongoing relationships with the children, their parents and the school is the key to success and growth. Depending upon the service, you may lead a team or work autonomously.

**Specific requirements** (What the Programs Manager says) Coordinator who is available Monday to Thursday afternoons. Who is able to maintain a great relationship with the school and families. Someone with experience would be great.

**What we would like - working towards or holding**
- ** A Degree or Diploma in the following fields**

Education / Recreation / sports science / nursing / or similar
- ** A Certificate III or Diploma in the following field**

Children services / School Age Education / Early Childhood Education / or similar
- ** Overseas Qualifications**

**Certificates required (please note some courses / certificates below require payment)**
- HLTAID012 (First Aid CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis)
- Covid -19 Vaccination (proof of)
- WWCC - Working with Children Check
- Child Protection (2 components)
