**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a driven, eager and reliable Event **Cleaning Supervisor **to join our events team. This is a casual position with varying shifts depending on events. You will be responsible in leading, mentoring and managing cleaning teams of up to 10 staff. The place of employment will be across events throughout South Australia.

This role is best suited to someone with a “hands on” management approach and willingness to work with and alongside our team. This is a labour intensive position, you will be required to work both outdoors and indoors in all types of weather conditions, physical fitness and stamina is important. The cleaning supervisor ensures the delivery of the contracted scope of work, scheduling detail cleaning, completing toolbox talks, conducting cleaning inspections, stock management and control.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Leading and supervising cleaning teams of up to 10 staff
- Night & day shifts on the weekends
- Delegating appropriate tasks to staff members skillsets
- Liaising with event organisers/ managers
- Machine operation; high pressure washing, forklift and ride on sweeper & scrubber
- Forklift Operation
- General cleaning duties: litter picking, vacuuming, emptying bins, mopping and cleaning of bathroom facilities
- General administrative duties

**About you**

**What you’ll bring**:

- Previous experience in a labour intensive role
- Prior experience in cleaning / events industries is not essential but highly advantageous
- Proven leadership experience of 5+ staff
- Available to work night shifts as well as day shifts on the weekends
- Current Driver's License & reliable vehicle
- Experience using cleaning machinery (preferred)
- Forklift License (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Able to pass and willing to obtain both a DCSI (within 5 years) & National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Ability to think on your feet, make decisions and take ownership
