About the Role

To plan and co-ordinate planned and break down maintenance for the Maintenance Services Hydraulics Services team; whilst ensuring compliance with procedures, industrial and legislative provisions aligned to meet the business unit needs.

Provide professional, client focused, high quality technical support and advice to the operation and maintenance of the water infrastructure and equipment for the Princess Alexandra (PAH) Hospital facility and Radiation Oncology Princess Alexandra and Raymond Terrace (ROPART).

This position reports to the Building Services Trade Supervisor

This position is required to back-fill the Metro South wide Water Technician and assist the water technician where required, performing some/all of these duties when the water technician is off-site. This will require the incumbent to Liaise with Central Energy Unit (CEU) supervisor on these issues and become fully conversant with and skilled in all facets of the Water Technicians role across the Health Service. This will involve equipment calibration and testing of water quality instruments (PH, Conductivity, TDS, ORP etc), chemical handling, water treatment, water sampling and statutory compliance reporting. regarding water technician issues when water technician is off-site.
