Fox Global Partners is currently working with an iconic Australian organisation to recruit for an Audit and Risk Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a strong audit and risk manager to join a well establish function to both lead and manage a team.

**The Role.**

The main aim of the role of the Audit and Risk Manager is to help to deliver the internal audit program, performing financial and operational audits across the business as set out in the annual internal audit plan. You will also be tasked with driving the continuous improvement of business processes, which would enhance the company's risk environment. You will also manage a team of internal auditors and lead audits across the region.

Key duties within the role include
- Plan and lead multiple audits and other business process audits for the year and oversee the execution and completion of an annual audit plan.
- Perform controls testing in order to provide assessments on the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
- Draft Internal Audit reports which would include summary of findings and associated risks.
- Conduct post internal audit meetings with key stakeholders in order to address key findings and areas of risk within the organisation.
- You will continue to monitor the risks and developments of the organisation.

**About You.**

The ideal Audit and Risk Manager will be a CA/ CPA qualified accountant from a large Accountancy Practice, focusing on Risk. It is also essential that you have a strong academic background, ideally with a degree from a well-known and reputable university. An Audit and risk background is essential, either within practice or a large commercial organisation. As this is a management role, you must have good experience in managing or leading teams. You must have excellent people skills, be a great communicator and have natural rapport building skills as you will be working with a range of stakeholders across the business.
