The Role

Buderim Gardens Retirement Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Cleaner to join their team on a Part Time basis, located in Buderim, Queensland. You will be working Monday to Friday 8am-11am.

Your main objectives will be ensuring that all communal areas including corridors are clean, tidy and presentable at all times. Part of your role may also include other duties such as tidying and maintaining outdoor areas, providing tea and coffee during community events and assisting with cleaning our kitchen areas.

To be successful you will have the following:

- Previous cleaning experience specifically within the retirement living, aged care or healthcare industry will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of the use of equipment and chemicals associated with the role.
- Excellent communication and people skills, as well as the capacity to work unsupervised.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Proactive, positive outlook - with a genuine interest in assisting our elderly residents.

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check, will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October as well as provide proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination with supporting documentation prior to joining. For selected roles more physical in nature, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
