**About you**:
You will have experience in and ability to perform a wide variety of manual labour tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. You love dealing with people, are adaptable and flexible, and take great pride in your work.
You will also have:
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to maintain a high standard of presentation
- The physical strength to perform heavy lifting, and general maintenance duties for extended periods of time.
- An ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties to set standards and procedures.
- Experience using tools, machinery and equipment to undertake and maintain and cremation services.
- Customer-focus, sensitivity to grieving people and to communicate effectively with the public.
- To be at ease with working in a crematorium environment.
- Strong teamwork
- A current unrestricted Drivers License
**About the role**:
Your new role is critical in the process of cremation, coordination of the delivery of ashes, ensuring ashes are prepared for handling with the correct paperwork, the use, maintenance and upkeep of the cremator equipment. We will train you and provide you the opportunity to become licensed to perform this function. You will also be required to complete grounds maintenance work such as mowing, snipping, placing memorials when required.
