We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. Initially, the role will be focused on night shifts, with the potential for more flexible hours as the participant’s needs evolve.

You will play a key role in supporting individuals with disabilities, which may include assisting with hospital visits and care during medical stays. Your role will make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and supportive environment, with ongoing training and development.

**Shift Requirement**:

- North Sydney area
- 9 PM - 6 AM AEST (Night shift), potential for more flexible hours as the participant’s needs evolve.
- Monday to Friday
- Supporting a participant with a hospital-to-community transition
- Opportunity for additional work.

**Your Role**:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential, individualised support to clients with daily support needs, helping them live independently and cultivate a positive quality of life in their day-to-day activities.

These supports help participants with everyday tasks, like personal care and self-management, to help them live more independently. They also assist with joining community events, social activities, and work-related tasks. You may provide this support in different places, such as in the community or the person's place.

**What You'll Need**:

- Working rights within Australia
- Experience as a support worker, ideally with high-needs clients
- Experience having personally cared for a family member or close friend is considered an advantage
- NDIS worker Orientation Module completion
- NDIS Screening Check clearance or willing to obtain one
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain one
- Up-to-date NSW Health immunisation requirements for authorised workers, including evidence of flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
- A genuine passion for empowering people with disabilities
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Current First Aid certification, driver's license, and reliable vehicle
