An opportunity is available for a Full time Lifting Equipment Testing Technician to join our growing team. The role requires work in our Wangara 6065 WA Australia workshop and customer sites.

**Task & Responsibilities**

Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
**Main Responsibilities**
- Working inhouse, onsite and remote on jobs where competency has been proven.
- Inspection, manufacture, repair and testing of new and in service lifting, rigging and height safety equipment.
- Inspection, service and installation of wire rope hoisting and rigging systems.
- Installation of height safety equipment.
- General Warehouse Duties - Picking and packing of orders

[Please note some heavy lifting is required.]

**The Role**
- This is a service-based role so excellent communication and time management skills are required.
- Study and interpret, Standards, Drawings, Plans, Parts lists, Diagrams and Instructions.
- Assemble, Fit, Test, Inspect, Repair & Maintain equipment with required parts as per knowledge obtained.
- Measure, Assess and Inspect equipment for quality, accuracy, suitability and compliance to relevant Standards and efficient operation.
- Operate plant and machinery.
- Clean and maintain, buildings, plant, equipment and vehicles.
- Write reports.

**Qualification & Experience**

**The Requirements**
- The successful applicant will be required to work onsite and must be willing to travel to remote sites when required.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Applicants must possess as a minimum an unrestricted ‘C’ class license.
- Applicants must have excellent computer and literacy skills.
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.

**Highly Desirable**
- Demonstrated Experience/Prior Knowledge and learning in similar Metal Fitting, Machining, Parts Assembly or Metal Maintenance Position.
- Metal Fitters and Machinists Trade Equivalent Qualification.
- Forklift, EWP, Dogman, Basic Rigger or Intermediate Rigger high risk work license.
- Safe working at heights ticket.
- Medium Rigid truck license.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
