**Job Description**:
**What you’ll do**

A career in Design will see you working on products that are used every single day by millions of customers all over the world. As a Product Designer, you’ll research, design, build and refine user-centric experiences and interfaces for our carsales users. Our people are creative and they get a kick out of working with the latest technology to collaboratively solve commercial problems and anticipate the future needs of our customers. They’re constantly looking ahead for the next trend and championing innovation to improve our customer experience.

Our Lead level designers not only work on the highest-impact product initiatives, but the role also requires the strategic capability to partner with Product and Tech leadership within the tribe to define their future strategic direction.

The Lead role has direct management responsibility with the opportunity to coach and mentor Designers who also work within the product teams of the tribe.
- Collaborate with product leadership to define medium and longer-term strategy, as well contribute to assessing and prioritising shorter-term roadmaps
- Define best-practice product design processes and general operating models in collaboration Product and Tech leadership
- Conduct research and user testing studies to represent key insights that will help influence decisions and directions
- Iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes and finely crafted visual design mock-ups
- Collaborate with product development and other teams to set realistic expectations for project scope, delivery timeframes whilst maintaining quality standards

- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously)
- Expertise in designing seamless product experiences based on the user-centered design methods and best practices
- Demonstrated expertise to share and promote collaboratively design thinking across the entire business
- Competent skills in industry-standard software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD and Adobe Creative Suite, etc. You’ll have the ability to create inspired concepts to a highly polished finish.
