**Aged Care and Disability Support Workers**

Maddison is a leading provider of Health and Community Services - supporting Queensland Families, around the clock, since 1999.

We specialise in the support of Queenslanders living with disorders of the Brain and Mind (including challenging behaviours). However, we accept referrals for a broad range of support needs. We are expanding our South East Queensland Direct Care Team to meet client demand. Maddison offer flexible working hours, across 7 Days.

Direct Support Worker Duties include, but are not limited to: Domestic support, Personal Care, Lifestyle /Social Support (companionship), Transportation and Respite Services.

The **successful applicants will**:

- Identify as **Female** (at the request of the client and due to the nature of the work)
- have completed **qualifications** (or be near to completion) in Social Sciences, Aged Care or Individual support;
- have the use of a **roadworthy and registered motor vehicle **for work purposes;
- own a **mobile telephone **capable of receiving and making calls and texts;
- own a **Computer/laptop or iPad** capable of completing word, pdf and excel case documents;
- hold a **Current First Aid and CPR endorsement.**:

- hold a **COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate **or be in receipt of a Medical Waiver
- have a willingness to attain Security Clearance Checks, at their own costs, as applicable to the engaged role (**Blue Card and/or Yellow card);** and
- attend the paid Maddison **On-Boarding and Induction program,** as scheduled.

Successful applicants **must also have**:
Legal capacity to work in Queensland; and

Capacity and Capability to work shifts rotating across a 14day fortnight, including Sleepovers; and

Excellent written and spoken English skills.

**Salary**: $32.73 - $100.68 per hour
