LiSTNR Original Podcasts is at the forefront of compelling and immersive audio storytelling in Australia.

Whether that be with a powerful Narrative Documentary like ‘The Children in the Pictures’, that recently won Gold at the prestigious New York Festivals Radio Awards or forging new ground in Audio Fiction with the gripping Crime Drama ‘You Don’t Know Me’.

Central to the success of LiSTNR’s audio future is our Audio Producerswho can craft world class sound design to bring the power of audio to life in new ways. To do that we need to expand our team.

We’re looking for the next Audio genius, who lives and breathes Pro Tools, knows their way around a foley recording kit and can fire up the midi keyboard to create a soundtrack.

Make no mistake we are looking for someone with runs on the board in the world of narrative sound design, audio documentaries and scripted drama-based podcasts. We want to hear examples of your prowess. Complex scene and sound design. How you create a world of sonic mastery that draws the audience in and leaves them wanting more.

**You should have**:

- Several Examples of Podcasts you’ve worked on with complex narrative sound design.
- Extensive experience using AVID Pro Tools.
- The ability to confidently direct a voice over session / coach talent in presentation and delivery techniques.
- An understanding of in and out of studio basics including microphone placement, recording, monitoring and playback.
- Script Writing and Music Composition Skills encouraged.
- Experience in Immersive Sound Design / Dolby Atmos would be highly regarded.

**You should also**:

- Be Extremely organised when it comes to asset management and time management.
- Be confidently creativeready to pitch that next great idea to make our podcasts stand out.
- Work well in a team and be agile enough to jump on a project at a moment’s notice.
- Have a passion to problem solve and be a pioneer in an emerging industry.
- Have a knowledge of legal and copyright complexities of audio content creation.
- Love to come to work each day, ready to learn from a team of some of Australia’s most experienced content creators and create world class podcasts
