**Position Overview**:
As a Disability Support Worker at Fidens, you'll be the heart and soul of our mission - to care for the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of our participants using a person-centered approach. Your role will be filled with qualities like promoting independence, dignity, and fostering an environment where everyone feels respected and fulfilled.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Showering participants with care and support (literally)

Encouraging independence and motivation - because every small victory is a celebration

Preparing delicious meals that cater to participants' preferences and cultural requirements

Assisting participants on trips into the community

Providing companionship and being an active listener

Maintaining a clean living environment, respecting participants' choices and rights

**Minimum Requirements**

Drivers Licence

Motor Vehicle Registration/Insurance

Motor Vehicle Insurance

NDIS Worker Screening Check

NDIS Orientation Module

National Police Clearance

CPR Certificate

First Aid Certificate

Prepare Meals

Manual Handling

Infection Control

Working with Children Check

Certificate III or IV Equivalent

Medication Administration

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- No weekends
- Rotating roster

Supplementary Pay:

**Experience**:

- Disability Support Work: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
