As an **Assistant Housekeeping Manager**, you will collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure success in our operational, financial, and strategic goals. Your keen eye for detail, drive to deliver a world class experience and ability to successfully manage and motivate a large and diverse team will be pivotal in your success.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our team and guests at The Star Sydney.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Manage and develop the daily operations ensuring departmental objectives are achieved
- Set daily performance objectives for Housekeeping Services Supervisor
- Monitor and manage team members absenteeism, annual leave, time and attendance
- Support training and career development programme for the department

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and act on guest requests appropriately
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including weekends
- Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team
