**Job Description** Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort** are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance department on a **casual** basis.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.
- Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Provide induction and supervision of external contractors as required.
- Maintain accurate daily work records and service schedules.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in managing contractor works and maintenance projects.
- Casual position
- Roster availability across all 7 days
- Flexible shifts between 8am to 7pm

**Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)**:

- Monday - Friday: $33.38 per hour
- Saturday: $40.05 per hour
- Sunday: $46.73 per hour

**Qualifications** The successful applicant will have**:

- Previous hands-on building or property maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting or implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Sound organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
