**Your Role**:
Are you** passionate about making a meaningful impact** in the lives of people experiencing homelessness? Join our dynamic team at Marys Place as a Support Worker, where you’ll provide essential support to clients in our Homelessness and Housing Services. We’re looking for dedicated individuals ready to bring compassion, respect, and a proactive attitude to our supportive community.

**Your Responsibility**:

- **Client Support**: Work closely with clients, offering hands-on assistance at our site and helping new clients with entry and assessments. Maintain an inclusive, trauma-informed approach to ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued.
- **Case Collaboration**: Support clients in line with their case plans, collaborating with the case management team to deliver well-rounded, consistent support.
- **Daily Operations**: Help with the daily running of the site, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for all. Assist with client activities, group sessions, and programs, providing casework support as directed.
- **Advocacy & Communication**: Act as a client advocate when needed, liaising with internal and external resources to connect clients to essential services. Keep clear, professional case notes and records in both electronic and handwritten formats.
- **Creating a Welcoming Space**: Make our site a welcoming, safe place for clients and visitors. Oversee site activities, manage the flow of people, and maintain a positive atmosphere.

**You Will Need**:

- **Qualifications**: Certificate or equivalent experience in a related field, or ongoing tertiary study.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- **Team-Oriented Attitude**: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment in crisis situations.
- **Non-Judgmental Approach**: A compassionate, ethical approach toward clients and colleagues, maintaining an open, inclusive attitude at all times.
