**Parts Interpretation and Sales**:
The Parts Interpreter is responsible for providing expert assistance to customers and the service team in identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct automotive parts and accessories. This role is critical to ensuring efficient service operations and customer satisfaction by accurately interpreting parts requirements and ensuring timely delivery to both internal technicians and external customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers and the service team in identifying the correct parts and accessories for 4WD vehicles.
- Provide accurate information about parts availability, pricing, and alternatives.
- Process parts sales transactions for both over-the-counter and phone inquiries, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of 4WD products and accessories to provide expert advice to customers.

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient availability of high-demand parts and accessories.
- Place orders with suppliers and maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving and cataloging parts.
- Conduct regular stock takes to verify parts inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to source special order parts when required.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction, offering prompt, knowledgeable assistance with part inquiries and requests.
- Resolve customer complaints related to parts supply issues, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of back-ordered or special-order parts and keep them updated on delivery times.

**Support to Service Team**:

- Work closely with the mechanics and service team to ensure the timely supply of parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Assist in locating alternative parts if the required parts are unavailable or delayed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts and accessories to support the service team's technical needs.

**Administration**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts sales, orders, and deliveries.
- Ensure all part sales transactions are processed correctly using the store’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain the parts counter area and ensure it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with promotional materials.
- **Product Knowledge Development**:

- Stay updated on new products, parts, and accessories within the 4WD and automotive industry.
- Attend product training sessions as required to enhance knowledge and stay informed about the latest industry trends.

- Mechanics and Service Technicians.

- Customers (both walk-in and phone inquiries).
