**The Organisation & Team**:
Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with an incredible local government client in order to find a Payroll officer experienced in iChris or Chris24 CRM payroll systems.
**The Opportunity**:
- Accurate weekly payroll processing aligned with checklist.
- Maintain precise iChris / Chris24 Payroll data, handling new starters and terminations.
- Precisely calculate and process PDR increases, adjustments, and allowances.
- Efficiently address payroll inquiries and collaborate with Finance.
- Handle superannuation calculations, payments, and error resolution.
- Support audits, year-end processing, and CPI increases.
- Assist as Payroll Coordinator when needed.
- Enhance payroll function through improvement, audits, and reports
**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proficiency in iChris payroll software.
- Relevant qualification in accounting or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in payroll processing.
- Knowledge of awards and industrial relations legislation.
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and methodical checking skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, plan, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
