**Join an evidence based program**:
The evidence-based program Rapid Response aims to prevent children being placed in Out of Home Care (OoHC) by providing families with short-term and intensive (up to 15 hours per week) face to face support. A safety-focused plan is developed with child protection and the family, and provides intensive, in-home support to address the crisis. Rapid Response Practitioners focus on addressing the protective concerns utilising a strengths-based approach that incorporates coaching and role modelling to build on parental strengths, skills, knowledge and resources to increase the levels of safety within the home.

**The skills you will use day to day**:
Actively participate in the Rapid Response Communities of Practice Forums and Case Consultation Meetings.

Participate in supervision, reflective practice and consultation activities.

Demonstrate compliance with agency requirements through clear and concise documentation and data entry.

Provide direct engagement and motivation using methods compatible with principles and practices of the specified model.

Contribute to the performance monitoring and reporting requirements of the Rapid Response program to ensure model fidelity.

Complete mandatory programmatic training, including but not limited to (Rapid Response, North Carolina Family Assessment Scale and Electronic Case Management System).
