WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Working in a team in a fun, quick-service restaurant environment
- Flexing between front of house and back of house (the kitchen)
- Creating a great vibe where guests feel the love
- Prepping and serving delicious Mexican fare in the kitchen
- Shaking bulk margs
- Clearing and cleaning
- Championing safety & hygiene

WHO IS FONDA?
Fonda was founded in Richmond, Melbourne in 2011 by two mates - Tim and Dave - with a vision of bringing a uniquely fresh take on Mexican street food to Australia.

In Mexico, a ‘fonda’ is a home that a family opens up to their local community as an unofficial restaurant. It’s this idea of everyone feeling welcome, relaxed and at home that really struck a chord with Tim and Dave. Not only did we borrow the Fonda name, but the idea of a fonda was also the inspiration behind our brand ethos of “Mi Casa Su Casa”. This embodies how we treat our staff, like our family, and how we treat our customers, like guests in our own home.

These days, we have 9 restaurants scattered across Melbourne and Sydney, with big plans to expand further over the coming 12 to 18 months.

**Requirements**:

- No prior hospitality experience is needed, all we require is a great attitude, a desire to learn and a passion for people; we want genuine team players who will live and breathe our values.
- Availability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Our roles are permanent part-time. We’re a hospitality business, so you need to be available for a mixture of shifts during the week and on the weekends.

Joining Fonda means you will be required to (and be able to maintain) full, ongoing working rights in Australia.
