As a store team member, you play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving sales goals. This position is responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, maintaining the store’s appearance, and ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day store activities. A Team Member is expected to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to a positive shopping environment.

**What’s involved:

- **
- Assisting customers on the retail floor with product selection and queries
- Processing sales through the POS system
- Replenishing and merchandising stock to maintain a tidy and inviting store
- Assisting with Click & Collect and online order pickups
- Supporting general cleanliness and presentation of the store
- Unloading deliveries and moving stock between store and warehouse
- Assisting in lifting and transporting bulky furniture and mattresses
- Preparing customer orders for delivery or pickup
- Following safety protocols and manual handling procedures

**What We’re are looking for:

- **
- Previous experience in Retail with an ability to provide great customer service
- Ability to multi-task
- Be willing to work a wide range of retail hours including morning, evening, weekends and public holidays
- Have an eagerness to learn and share ideas
- A respect for both team members and customers and an ability to gain rapport and build relationships.
- General capability with Microsoft/Google suite and previous experience reporting retail sales and training POS systems
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Friendly, approachable, Team player and confident in customer service
- Physically fit - able to lift and move heavy items safely
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Comfortable using basic technology (POS systems, tablets, or warehouse apps)
- A “can-do” attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
- Retail or warehouse experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Availability on weekends and flexible weekday shifts
