As a consultant and business partner, this strategic and relationship management role works in partnership with senior business leaders and executives to drive better people and commercial performance in the short and long term.
Reporting to the General Manager - Business Enablement you will ensure trusted partnerships are developed with RAC Executive, Senior Leaders, and the P&C leadership team to drive the people strategy and agenda successfully.
What will you be doing?
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders to build trust, understand their needs and influence outcomes
- Represent the voice of the business within P&C, and the voice of P&C within the business

- create and deliver the people plan to enable business transformation, delivery and growth via appropriate people solutions and support
- Provide specialist people advice to leaders - understanding organisational and individual challenges
- Work with business leaders and the People Experience team to embed and deliver key employee lifecycle activities in line with business strategy and objectives
- Secure buy-in from senior stakeholders to redesign organisation structures, roles and objectives to deliver business strategy effectively and efficiently
- Co-design and drive strategic organisation design, culture, talent and skills
- Collaborate across P&C to drive the delivery of the RAC People Strategy
- Provide feedback and trends to partner areas to co-create solutions
- Request, interpret and draw insights from function specific people data, metrics and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement
What are we looking for in you?
- Significant HR Business Partnering experience, including driving key projects such as organisational design, organisational effectiveness, workforce and strategic planning and change management
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Org Psych or similar
- Proven experience initiating, implementing and leading successful change, in partnership with stakeholders
- Proven experience supporting executive leaders in organisations
- Exceptional collaborator who works seamlessly with other functions, utilising account and project management skills
- Utilises coaching and consulting skills to deliver proactive and pragmatic solutions
- Ability to utilise data, metrics and analytics to drive people priorities and thinking
- Ability to navigate complicated and interconnected relationships and maintain trust and credibility
This role is instrumental in driving and implementing the people agenda in the business by translating strategy into action. You will be an integral member of the business leadership team and a member of the P&C function, continuously striking a balance between the two to enable people and commercial business outcomes.
