Do you have a passion for exceptional coffee, outstanding hospitality, and team leadership? **Flour Bar**—Moss Vale’s vibrant bakery, cafe, wine bar, restaurant, deli, and bottleshop—is seeking a full-time **Head Barista** to lead our coffee program and inspire our team.

About the Role

As our **Head Barista**, you’ll be the heart of our coffee experience, ensuring every cup meets the highest standards while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests. You’ll oversee our coffee team, train and mentor baristas, and collaborate with management to refine our offerings and customer journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Excellence**: Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based drinks, maintaining quality and consistency at all times.
- **Team Leadership**: Train, motivate, and lead our barista team, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, and hospitality.
- **Menu Development**: Work with management to develop and update our coffee menu, including seasonal specials.
- **Operations**: Manage coffee-related equipment, inventory, and supplier relationships. Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- **Customer Engagement**: Build rapport with guests, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive, memorable experience at Flour Bar.

Who We’re Looking For
- **Experience**: 3+ years as a barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
- **Skills**: Outstanding coffee preparation and latte art, strong leadership, and communication abilities.
- **Attitude**: Passionate about hospitality, community, and creating great experiences. Energetic, reliable, and eager to grow with our team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
