Macquarie Park, Australia DXC Technology Full time

As part of icare’s major reset to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers, DXC has commenced managing workers’ compensation claims in New South Wales.

Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Eligibility Officer will be required to determine liability of claims, and transition claims to appropriate Case Managers for ongoing management. The role will also calculate PIAWE, advise Dispute Resolutions Managers on the rationale for original decisions and identify the recovery potential of claims.

**Required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Strong working knowledge of the NSW Workers Compensation Act 1987 and associated Regulations and/or a Legal Qualification
- Two years or more experience in initial claims assessment (Case Manager), or one year or more in a paralegal or legal assistant position\
- Being flexible and can adapt to change
- Ability to interpret and implement decision according to the rules and regulation
- Strong stakeholder management skills including negotiation and influencing skills with both internal and external customers.
- Strong time management skills
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
