**About the role**

The **Practice Advisor
- Family & Carer Support** delivers integrated family and carer practice and process support within Avivo in a way that helps teams to make real what matters to our customers.

This position supports teams to develop and deliver quality support to people who require family and carer support using a person-centred approach. As a Practice Advisor you will proactively monitors the health of Avivo’s services and supports teams as well as provide practice, process and operational expertise with the goal to build capability in family and carer support.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate and undertake innovations, projects or programs of work that have operational significance contributing to Avivo’s strategic direction.
- Collaborate and partner with Area and Business Support teams to identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
- Work with Area and Business Support teams to investigate the financial viability of family and carers services and explore opportunities for customers to utilise their funding effectively.
- Ensure that Avivo’s funder compliance expectations are met, including funder reporting
- Development and delivery of events/workshops that facilitate networks of support for carers
- Develop internal and external partnerships to promote mental health programs across the metropolitan and regional communities that stimulate referrals and support families and carers
- Gather and share data on customer experiences
- Where required work in projects or programs of work related to Aged Care or Disability

**What we need from you**:

- Qualification in human services, related discipline, or evidence of working towards completion
- In depth knowledge and experience in family and carer support services and mental health
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously (with mínimal supervision) but also within a team
- Displays attitudes and behaviours that demonstrate Avivo’s vision and values
