Bondi Before & After School Care is seeking Full Time, Part-time and Casual OOSH Educators.

We are looking for an Educator that wants to contribute to our positive work culture, create meaningful relationships with children and support our amazing BASC community. We are a large service with a capacity of 200 children per a day and have a team of 30 Educators. We pride ourselves on creating a fun and supportive work culture, staff development opportunities and an exciting daily program for both educators and children to engage in.

As an Educator, your role will be to assist in the delivery of a high-quality, safe, fun, and educational after school hours program. Ensuring it is compliant with our service philosophy, policies and procedures, and the requirements of the National Quality Framework (NQF).

Essential:

- Working with Children Check Clearance Number (WWCC)
- A willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and child Protection(Paid by the service)
- Preferred experience working with children in an OSHC or Early child care sector.
- Effective communication skills and a professional manner.
- Ability to develop respectful relationships with children, families, staff and manage groups of children.
- Interests and skills in craft, sports, group games, cooking, or other activities enjoyed by children.
- Be a prompt and reliable team player.
- Want to be part of a positive workplace culture

**Responsibilities/Duties**:

- Ensuring a high-quality standard of care is provided and that a happy, safe and professional environment is maintained.
- Contribute to the completion and implementation of the QIP
- Undertake duties as determined by the Nominated supervisor
- Be aware and comply with all center policies and procedures and follow through with them.
- Programming -Based on My time our place
- Actively engage with children during the implementation of the program
- Communicate with Children, staff, and parents
- Work alongside the Nominated supervisor
- Supervise, care for and actively interact with children from K- 6 in a range of activities. Setting up and packing away activities, cleaning duties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
