**Position** - Childcare Educator - Early Learning

**Level** - Coordinator

**Pay rate** **(per hour)** - $33.00 - $38.00

**EXTEND - Who are we?** - Extend is a privately owned premium Childcare Provider who has been operating for over 20 years. Most of our partnerships are with exclusive private schools. Our core values are built around providing the best possible experiences for our children, which lead to discovery and learning in the Out of School Hours Care setting.

**The Service - Montessori East Primary School **in **Bondi**

**Monday to Friday**

**ASC **(after school care) Start - 2:30 **pm** Finish - 6:00 **pm**

**Vacation work **YES ( at other services we run)

**Days required per week - **we are looking for someone who can work **5 **days per week.

**Overview - **As Coordinator, your main role is to create a safe, caring environment where young children want to come to play, learn and discover Leading your team you will plan programs, taking into consideration individual learning and development by managing observations and reflections. Strong communication and the ability to adapt in the day-to-day environment is very important. Developing ongoing relationships with the children, their parents and the school is the key to success and growth. Depending upon the service, you may lead a team or work autonomously.

**What we would like - working towards or holding (one of more of the following)**
- ** A Degree or Diploma in the following fields**

Education / Recreation / sports science / nursing / or similar
- ** A Certificate III or Diploma in the following field would be an advantage**

Children services / School Age Education /** Early Childhood Education** / or similar
- ** Overseas Qualifications**

**Certificates required (please note some courses / certificates below require payment)**
- HLTAID012 (First Aid CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis)
- Covid -19 Vaccination (proof of)
- WWCC - Working with Children Check
- Child Protection (2 components)
