The Opportunity

Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is situated in the heart of Brisbane’s premium western suburbs and provides an inspiring shopping experience to local residents and visitors alike. With iconic status in the community, the centre has evolved over time with multiple redevelopments and an array of retail tenants reflecting the changing face of fashion and lifestyle. As Brisbane’s iconic shopping centre, Indooroopilly is anchored by David Jones, Myer, Kmart, Target, Coles, Woolworths, Event Cinemas and offers 284 specialty stores. With several new stores the centre is perfectly positioned to continue to delight its loyal customer base and attract new customers with its considerable charm.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, managing and delivering the centre’s digital assets and centre communications with a focus on driving centre traffic and retail sales. This is a role with lots of variety, allowing you to leverage your digital skills, bringing campaigns to life across fashion, beauty, lifestyle and general retail.

You will make an impact by:
Digital Marketing
- Coordinate customer database and growth strategies.
- Execute monthly EDM and social media strategies.
- Implement paid digital campaigns and manage budgets.

Content Creation
- Manage website content and optimise with external agencies.
- Handle event uploads on ticketing platforms.

Engagement
- Drive retailer participation in social media content.
- Coordinate competitions and giveaways.
- Address customer enquiries from various platforms.

Analytics & Reporting
- Manage SkyFii platform for customer insights.
- Provide analytics reports and monthly updates.

Administration
- Handle financial tasks (POs, invoices, budget reporting).
- Ensure support for retailers and key campaigns.
- Maintain customer relationships and timely query responses.

About You

You are digitally savvy, proactive and driven, with a passion for retail. You thrive in a harmonious and culture first team environment. You understand the importance of customer relationships and have the ability to work at pace across a variety of interesting campaigns.
- Strong understanding and experience in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
- Experience with digital technology and social media strategy.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, and Canva.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a can-do attitude.
- Sound problem-solving and interpretation skills.
- Flexibility and agility in changing situations.
- Ability to deliver key initiatives on time and manage tasks within budget.
- High attention to detail and initiative.
