Our client has been supplying commercial furniture to the Australian market for decades. Their high quality of service, industry knowledge and access to manufacturers has made them the preferred furniture supplier to many sectors, including, SME’s, Corporates, Schools, Edu, Health, and Gov.
Our client has key alliances with Australian commercial furniture companies to provide an extensive range of quality products. They have the logístical capabilities to ensure timely delivery and any installation of furniture and fit outs.
They offer custom designed fit out for any project and continue to be one of the most trusted companies within the commercial furniture market in Australia.
**Role**
This is a unique newly created opportunity, which will see you manage a team and large company key accounts.
The team and business continue to have strong growth and it’s a great time to be joining our client in their brand-new facilities.
They have built up a fantastic reputation across the country and as a result have loyal customers, raving fans, large quantity of inbound leads and high rates of repeat business.
Manage large existing accounts and maintain great relationships with current clients. You will also target new and past clients to help drive sales for the business. Leverage existing contacts, including, End Users, Education and SME Businesses contacts within the industry.
You must have a strong management background (not necessarily within the building materials sector), strategic focus on your sales process and sound knowledge of how to motivate a team.
We require a manager who leads from the front, happy to have a personal budget and team budget too. You will coach, mentor, and lead a team that’s very welcoming, share the same vision, values and goals.

**Skills & Experience**
- Commercial furniture sales experience is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience and good tenure in a sales and sales management position is preferred. Minimum of five years of management experience is required.
- Strong sales and marketing background, interested in marketing the business.
- Contacts and previous experience selling building products/materials into SME, End Users, Corporate/ASX listed Companies, Education, Government OR Healthcare is highly desired.
- Proven track record in reporting, team management, coaching, sales within the building products/materials industry.
- Understanding of the commercial furniture and Office Furniture market is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of projects and the fit-out process is highly desired.
- Great customer service skills are essential.
- High degree of energy, dynamic and self-motivated.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals (mark up's, take off's, ordering and delivery/installation coordination) is highly desired but not essential.
- Proactively target new accounts, build relationships, provide product presentations, and exceed client requirements is essential.
