THE ROLE
Available Positions:

- 1 full-time fixed-term role at Mia Mia Child & Family Study Centre
- 1 full-time role at Gumnut Cottage

Reporting to the Room Leader, you will be an advocate for children, believe in quality early education and the value of relationships, and be willing to collaborate with the university community.

You are a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator who:
- Contributes to the educational program, including developmental records- Interacts respectfully and positively with children and families- Works collaboratively and respectfully within a large, diverse team- Maintains a current understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards- Supports and actively contributes to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives- Demonstrates commitment to professional development and continuous improvement- Follows approved policies and procedures to keep children safe (child protection, supervision, health and wellbeing)

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS- ACECQA approved Certificate III in early childhood education- Approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification (Casuals exempt)- Valid Working with Children Check- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years is desirable- You share our organisational values of Courage, Agility, Rigour, Empowerment and Support (CARES) and commit to these being visible in your actions and words.
