We are seeking experienced Supervisors who can lead the Sydney Trains Security team, ensuring they are developing and learning how to achieve their potential to safeguard the site from all potential threats.Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and co-ordinate all BRI employees on sites.
- Liaise with Sydney Trains clients.
- Ensure all Daily Reports are processed and completed.
- Co-ordinate new employee induction and training
- Protecting assets and ensuring safety within Stabling Yards.
- Uploading electronic reports for any incidents, hazards and other logs.
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and communicate security concerns.
- Provide other stakeholders with a visible security presence.
- Cooperate with safety engagements and periodic memo requirements.
- Assist with medical or evacuation emergencies.
- Provide overall management and leadership of staff to achieve the goals of the organisation and encourage the development of teamwork and leadership skills amongst staff.
- Build positive working relationships with Sydney Trains and Certis Staff
- Other Ad Hoc Duties.Experience
- Ability to work a 24/7 roster.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Previous Security Experience.
- Current 1 A Security Licence.
- Current 2 A Security Licence is Desirable.
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- COVID Vaccination (2 Doses Minimum)
- Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other stakeholders.
