**Casual Counter Sales Assistant - Garden & Building Supplies**

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
**Training Location**: Moorooduc

**About the Role**

We’re looking for a friendly and motivated **Casual Counter Sales Assistant** to join our team in Hastings. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and wants a hands-on role in the garden and building supply industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve customers and assist with product selection
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Accurately enter orders and handle transactions with attention to detail
- Answer phones and provide product information
- Maintain a clean and presentable branch environment
- Operate point-of-sale and basic computer systems
- Work as part of a high-energy, supportive team

**What We’re Looking For**
- Strong customer service focus
- Confident communication and phone manner
- Reliable, professional, and well-presented
- Basic computer skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn
- High energy and interest in the building/garden supply industry
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential
- No industry experience? No problem._
If you’re confident, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, we’ll provide full training.

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
