Transactional Services Manager

As the Transactional Services Manager you will be responsible for leading Transactional Services, encompassing iProcurement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and in doing so contribute to the strategic and operational performance of the Group.

What will you be doing?
- Ensuring adherence to audit, tax, and corporate responsibilities, maintaining compliance across all transactional services.
- Driving business compliance with the utilisation of RAC's existing preferred suppliers, promoting best practices and adherence to procurement policies.
- Developing and regularly updating the Purchase to Pay Policy, ensuring it meets current business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing and managing continuous improvement processes, proactively addressing and remedying significant delivery failures.
- Identifying and implementing technologies that will drive efficiencies and improve service delivery within the organisation.
- Supporting and championing yearly internal and external audits for Transactional Services, ensuring all processes and procedures are thoroughly reviewed and compliant.
- Analysing RAC’s purchasing, payables, and receivables data as requested, providing insightful reports to inform business decisions.
- Overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including daily audits, monthly close-offs, reconciliations, and maintaining control account reports.

What are we looking for in you?
- Previous experience having supervision of accounts and administration areas within a medium to large organisation or division.
- Proven experience managing and successfully delivering complex projects.
- Demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to prepare project related documents and recommendations;
- Proven verbal communication skills, including an understanding of the principles of effective negotiation.
- Experience of Oracle E-Business Suite and Microsoft Dynamics F&O (ideal)
- Accounting or financial experience (desirable).
- Commercial experience (desirable).
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills, including the ability to identify issues, think laterally and develop appropriate strategies.
