**About the role..**

We are seeking an IT professional with some experience in information technology to provide exceptional support to the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) and Sydney Showground staff, clients and event partners.

This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the service desk enquiries and support requests.

The role involves, but is not limited to:

- Monitor and maintain service desk and network to ensure availability for all users based on business requireements
- Understanding of hardware, software, network, and operating systems
- Support the Office 365 Tenant, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Workflows
- Manage IT equipment and network software in line with RAS policies
- Manage roll out of IT hardware and maintain their performance
- Assist in delivering IT strategic outcomes
- Devise project management plans on new technology rollouts
- Stay up to date with current and emerging technologies in the IT industry
- Support off site users using TeamViewer
- Maintain end user asset register

**About you**

You will be someone who:

- Has a minimum 2 years’ experience in information technology
- Microsoft 365 and Office 365 certification, preferred
- Has a passion for technology and is eager to develop their IT skills
- A quick learner with energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Thorough knowledge of up-to-date Windows operating system
- Use of Service Desk tool such as JIRA
- Have a customer service focus, highly motivated, highly adaptable and a problem solver
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
