Position Duties and Responsibilities:

- Providing great service to assist customers pre and post purchase; covering issues such as product recommendation; pricing, stock availability, delivery issues and returns;
- Liaising with suppliers for technical product information, pricing, availability, and delivery expectations;
- Identifying potential repeat and trade/wholesale/project clients and establishing business account relationships; and
- Continuously developing and building on product knowledge, awareness and understanding.

We are looking for:

- Experience in retail/telephone sales
- Sales and customer problem resolution skills
- Friendly manner and strong written and oral communication
- Ability to learn and use technical information and data
- Organised, good time management and multi-task skills
- Reliable, punctual, positive attitude and a team player
- Attention to detail
- Technical or trades background with knowledge in lighting, electrical, HVAC or a related field highly advantageous
- Experience with Salesforce highly advantageous
