**The Opportunity**

As a Compensation Consultant in our Payment Integrity team, you will join a collaborative team that plays a key role in ensuring that claims paid by Medibank and Ahm, which are otherwise payable by a third-party insurer or as part of a common law settlement, are identified and recovered.

Our team is passionate about continuous improvement, and in this role you will have the opportunity to work on initiatives and implement strategies that ensure that compensable claims, where possible, are not paid by Medibank and ahm from the outset.

**Your impact**
- Proactively manage a portfolio of varied compensation cases
- Liaising with a diverse group of external stakeholders to identify and recover compensable claims
- Building effective and professional relationships with Plaintiff Solicitor Firms acting on behalf of our members
- Assisting the Senior Compensation Lead in the development of processes and systems designed to maximise compensation claims recoveries and improve detection

**About you**

You’re passionate about continuous improvement and enjoy working collaboratively with a team to drive outcomes. Your eye for detail and superior time management skills will be key to your success in this role. Importantly, you love learning, can quickly learn new processes and love implementing new ideas. You will also have:

- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- A self-disciplined, eager and positive disposition, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong excel skills and is comfortable with data and high-level analysis
- A “can do’ attitude and a curious and enthusiastic approach to your work
- A tertiary degree in law, or similar relevant degree
