**About the Role**:BGIS is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Advisor to join our team in Macquarie Park. This part-time hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in managing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BGIS' Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management systems.

**Location**:Macquarie Park
**Work Schedule**:Part-time, 20 hours per week
- **Tuesday**:Full day
- **Wednesday**:Full day
- **Thursday**:Half day

**Work Arrangement**:Hybrid role

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
- Maintain WHS system compliance with AS/NZS 4801 and OHSAS 18001
- Maintain Environmental system compliance with AS/NZS ISO 14001
- Provide HSEQ expertise for BGIS
- Maintain BGIS processes, procedures, and records on the BGIS Intranet and client online HSEQ services
- Manage action management on client compliance systems (Riskware)
- Oversee contractor management for BGIS Managed Services Contractors
- Manage hazard, near miss, and incident reporting for contractors
- Conduct internal and external HSEQ audits and account inspections
- Provide HSEQ management training
- Offer technical support to compliance staff
- Support contract transitions, including new and resecured contracts
- Contribute to business growth through expressions of interest, fee proposals, and tenders
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for BGIS and clients
- Lead HSEQ forums in contractor and client meetings

**Qualifications & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- 5+ years of experience in an OH&S Advisor or Coordinator role
- Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801 and AS/NZS ISO 14001 management systems
- 5+ years of experience in construction, property management, or facility management industries
- Experience in detailed incident investigation and report writing
- Proficiency in issuing permits to work (e.g., work at heights, roof access, hot works, confined space)
- Strong background in property or corporate real estate environments
- Proven experience conducting OH&S audits
- Ability to quickly adapt to change and approach problems innovatively
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience using iAuditor

**Desirable**:

- ICAM trained with 1+ years of experience in investigations
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline
- Certificate IV in OH&S Management
- Diploma in OH&S Management or a higher qualification in a relevant field
- OH&S auditor course
- Permit Issuer Training (national accredited course)
