**What’s the role?**

Sky News are looking to recruit an Executive Producer.

The successful applicant will be responsible for putting to air one of the network’s leading opinion programs each evening.

We are looking for a dynamic organiser, who lives and breathes news and loves making great television.

The winning applicant will:

- Work closely with the host to decide on editorial priorities, identify good talent for guests and build a show packed with entertaining content.
- Output shows live from the control room, communicating with pilots, TDs, host, reporters and guests
- Manage a small team, focusing on a clean, quality, risk-free product, with a keen eye for ratings and a willingness to work to improve the show.
- Collaborate with other Executive Producers and the Supervising Producers to ensure the evening’s output runs smoothly, contributing ideas and radiating positive energy.
- Complete and comply with all News Corp and ANC policies, including ANC’s Social Media Policy, News Corp Global Standards etc.

**Who are you?**
- You have solid experience in a live television news setting
- You will be happy to work evenings and some weekends as part of the news cycle
- You have excellent editing and time-management skills
- You are a great script writer and can turn out read-me headlines.
- You are calm under pressure
- You enjoy being part of a friendly and professional team.
- You are an outstanding script writer
- You have a strong understanding or television law and broadcasting code.
