**Tell me about this role**:
We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Engineering Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for skilled engineers who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. Based in Canberra you will be involved in this watercraft project to strengthen the ADF’s amphibious capabilities.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Work with the Engineering Delivery Lead and the Deputy Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of the project
- Develop and review technical documents
- Exercise assigned engineering authority
- Lead the technical team in contract negotiations
- Motivate and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in applicable Work Groups and technical reviews
- Conduct and coordinate risk management activities

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Experience with Maritime projects
- Demonstrated experience in a Defence environment
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Hold a NV1 or higher security clearance
