Inventory Counter

**The role**

You will take on this role for the inventory department which involves inbound receival tasks, stock counts, stock audits and investigations. This role will enable you and give you multiple areas of responsibility and opportunity to learn and evolve.

**What you’ll do**
- Investigate/reconcile inventory discrepancies to ensure the stock on hand matches with the systems to enable visibility and control of stock
- Set-up supermarket for production lines: which enables smooth flow of stock and have stock available for production on time, in full.
- Perform inventory counts, which is a key driver in stock management accuracy to enable the procurement team to place weekly orders accordingly.
- Stock receiving; main contributor to maximize on stock availability and management which is key driver for inventory efficiency.
- Assist with stock investigations and stock audits.

**What you’ll bring**
- Proficiency in basic mathematics
- Basic computer knowledge - MS office
- Willingness to learn new operating systems
- Willingness to take on multiple inventory responsibilities and stock management
- Maintain database where necessary
- Having an eye for detail
- Ability to adapt and embrace to change
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Great written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge in warehousing operations
- Prior experience in inventory
- Familiarity in chep, SAP systems
- Have a forklift license

**Salary**: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Canning Vale WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
