Medical Receptionist

**Position Description**

Medical Receptionist - with previous experience in general practice

High Street Medical Clinic is a well established private billing practice with an outstanding team of 12 doctors, supported by a team of professional and caring nurses, receptionists & allied health professionals in a large modern facility.
- Located in the Inner SE suburb of Prahran, close to public transport, cafes and other amenities._

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer focused medical receptionist to join our exisiting reception team.

Purpose of position:
As a Medical Receptionist you will be the face of our clinic, the first point of contact for all visitors to our clinic. Providing exceptional customer service to both our patients and doctors will be your main priority.

Working in a fast paced environment, this role will require you to perform general reception duties including but not ,imited to:

- Appointment management using Best Practice PMS
- Patient interaction, billing and receipting
- Incoming phone calls and enquiries
- Liaising with GP's and other health professionals
- Database management, scanning, debtor control
- Providing an exceptionally high level of customer service at all times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 - 38 per week

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- general practice: 1 year (preferred)
