Grounds/Maintenance:

- Carry out day to day repairs and maintenance of all College buildings;
- Responsible for general upkeep of the entire grounds including mowing, weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, and watering;
- Undertake the periodic cleaning and maintenance of single storey roof gutters and drains
- Be involved in College events, assist with parking, setting up, and pack down etc;
- Movement and set up/pack down of equipment (shade covers, sound system, furniture etc.) for events and classroom set-up;
- Knowledge and skills in using a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of buildings/grounds as well as Work Health & Safety practices highly desirable;
- Physical ability and dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job;
Cleaning:

- Responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of college buildings;
- Ability to work a minimum of two hour shifts in the morning and/or afternoon during the week;
- Professional and reliable cleaner, able to work without supervision and with high attention to detail;
- Previous experience in a similar role, ability to cope with the physical demands of the job and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to perform tasks of the scheduled cleaning and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures;
In addition to the above, we are looking for a Cleaner who can also:

- Organise the roster for all casual cleaners;
- Order and replenish cleaning supplies.

Bus Driving:

- Drive private school bus each morning and afternoon for College students;
- Complete required safety checks and paperwork each shift;
- Minimum 2 hour shifts available for morning and afternoon on school days;
- Potential opportunity for extra shifts for school excursions, sports and camps etc;
- Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain a MR License.

**Applicants Must**:

- Be a practising Christian who is active in their own church and whole-heartedly subscribe to the Statement of Faith;
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a Positive Notice blue card from the _Queensland’s Working with Children Check_;
- Be eligible to work in Australia; and
- Have a current First Aid certificate and CPR or willing to obtain.
