**Description**:
A Test Analyst (Mid-level) at HUB24 will be required to perform a range of functions to assist in the delivery of quality software systems. This will include preparing test scripts and test cases, manual and automation testing, API and integration testing and backend testing using SQL.
- Review business requirements, create test plans/scripts, executing both automated and manual test scripts as required and providing status reports
- Liaise with various project stakeholders to determine correct system behaviour
- Develop comprehensive and detailed test case based on the business requirement with standard template if applicable
- Test case execution, test new software, validate business rules, and ensure that all software works as expected
- Coordinate development team by keeping system testing in pace with new updates and changes.
- Ensure timely delivery of output with defined cost and quality standard parameters
- Define the appropriate tests required and any associated Test Data
- Gather and manage the Test Data
- Construct process and/or equipment recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of test process
- Handle urgent and complex test request and deliver the task on time
- Create traceability test document, from test cases, test result back to requirements
- Write and record release notes into HUB24 system
- Assist in writing test plans for significant software upgrades.
- Write ad hoc documents if required
- Record and analyse actions and results, and maintain defect register
- Record defects retesting result
- Be flexible and adaptable and respond quickly when situations change
- Offer own opinion and raise challenging issues

- Assist with team direction and/training
- Maintain quality to ensure satisfactory client retention
- Ensure that the team is client focused
- Provide quality assurance for the prioritised business projects delivery
- Investigate build failures and take appropriate actions
- Helping the Testing Team with technical tasks
- Participate in Production issue analysis
- Defect management & reporting

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Min 3-5 years’ experience in quality assurance and test automation
- Experience of testing within the broader financial services or banking sector.
- University degree in Information technology or a related discipline
- ISTQB foundation certificate
- Ability to write automated API tests using Postman &/Or SoapUI
- Ability to script automated UI tests using a framework such as Selenium
- Experience with SQL Server or an equivalent database product
- Good SQL knowledge
- A very high attention to detail
