The Audit and Assurance team require an experienced Manager lead highly skilled project teams and deliver a first-class client experience through high profile engagements.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team and execute complex audit procedures on engagements to ensure that work is allocated and reviewed effectively, and that team members are supported and developed appropriately;
- Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in compliance with policies and protocols;
- Oversee and review the preparation of business reports and management letters for clients to highlight key issues and recommended actions;
- Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently;
- Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed;
- Cultivate and manage business development opportunities;
- Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies;
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other assurance teams and the broader firm;
- Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.

**Qualifications & Expertise**
- 7+ years of experience in Audit and Accounting;
- Proven leadership experience within a professional services environment;
- CA qualifications (or similar) with professional services experience;
- Audit experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm;
- Excellent analytical, organisational, written, and verbal communication skills;
- Experience of Word, Excel, APS and audit systems (CaseWare preferred);
- Strong experience in delivering finance-related projects;
- A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organise, prioritise, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines;
- Outstanding leadership, mentoring and people skills fostering client and staff relationships;
- Decisive ability to identify and execute solutions to problems;
- Ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships.
