**About Us**

Stantons is a boutique firm with a dedicated team of audit professionals located in Perth, with offices in Sydney and Darwin. We have a team of over 35 experienced professionals throughout Australia. We are also a member of Russell Bedford International, a global network of independent accounting firms, business consultants, and specialist legal advisers, represented by more than 350 offices in 100 countries.

External Audit is a core area within our organisation where we provide external audit services to a variety of entities, including publicly listed entities, unlisted public and proprietary companies, as well as not-for-profit entities.

We are currently seeking to recruit suitably qualified External Auditors (Intermediate/Senior) to join our well-established Audit and Assurance team in Perth. You may also provide assistance in other states and the South Pacific as required.

**Our Requirements**
- Commerce/Accounting Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years’ audit experience, preferably gained in a globally recognised public practice
- Experience in audit services in the South Pacific
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Good communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients

**Key Duties**
- Be a part of Audit and Assurance assignment teams, and be able to work without supervision
- Liaise and communicate with clients for audit requirements and work papers
- Plan, design, and perform audit procedures
- Mentor graduates as required
- Report to Audit Managers
- Demonstrate professional judgement and good time management skills when conducting multiple audit tasks
- Utilise accounting and auditing knowledge and experience when conducting audit work
- Resolve client queries in a professional and efficient manner
- Assess all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards/IFRS
- Prepare draft audit reports
- Perform other duties as required

At Stantons, you will develop a much deeper understanding of the main aspects of audit, mainly the planning, performing of the audit procedures, and completing the audit in a shorter period of time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $73,150.00 - $83,150.00 per year
