Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding multinational organisation specialising in maritime related projects. Working with this dynamic and expanding industry leader will give you the opportunity to work with the Chief Security Officer and Principal Security Officer to advance your knowledge within the Defence Security space.

Your new role
As the Security Officer you’ll be responsible in delivering security operations that ensure compliance and effectiveness for the company. In this role you will:

- In accordance with company security practices and procedures, develop and implement security processes that allow core business to be conducted in line with best security arrangements that are compliant with the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and the Protective Security Principles Framework (PSPF).
- Administer the DISP membership of the company.
- Conduct scheduled DISP assurance activities as required per DSPF 16.1 to support the Chief Security Officer’s DISP governance activities
- Develop, review, update & assist implementing security processes under the guidance of the Principal Security Officer working with the Quality department to publish processes on internal knowledge pages for staff guidance.
- Check, monitor and administer the access control of employees and visitors.

What you'll need to succeed
- Must be Australian Citizen to be eligible for required Security Clearance
- Sought after Qualifications: DS&VS Security Officer Course / DS&VS Risk Management Course
- 3 years in a Security Officer role with Defence/Defence Industry
- Proven Skills and experience operating in line with best practice security arrangements as a Security Officer.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
