**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**:
Our Aquatic Centre is expanding its crew of lifeguards. We’re looking for energetic and safety conscious permanent part time lifeguard for approximately 10 hours per week (with ability to pick up extra shifts), to supervise our customers and ensure their safety at all times whilst using our Aquatic Centre.

**Current availability in roster is**:

- 4:30am - 8:30am Tuesday
- 12noon - 6:30pm Saturday

**In this role you will**:

- Supervise all users of the Aquatic Centre ensuring high standards for safety and presentation
- Opening/closing and preparing the venue for use
- Be responsible for effectively and promptly responding to emergency situations
- Conduct rostered pool and water quality tests to ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and/or regulations

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation and the ability to maintain an appropriate level of fitness throughout employment.
- Previous experience as a lifeguard is highly regarded
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Blue Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Advanced Resuscitation qualification (desired)
